A regional spokesperson from Sprint confirmed an outage in Hawaii on Monday.
Select towers from Makaha through Hawaii Kai were down since 1 p.m. and that is affecting its 3G CDMA network.
The cause is unknown but crews are working on the problem.
Some Sprint customers in Hawaii say they can't make or receive calls or texts.
