The city's Emergency Services Department says Ocean Safety lifeguards have posted signs warning the public of a confirmed shark sighting at Nanakuli Beach Park Tuesday.
An Emergency Services Department spokeswoman says an 8-foot-long non-agressive shark was spotted.
Lifeguards were scheduled to stay at the beach until sunset to warn the public.
