Pahoa lava flow slowdown could last a few days
Flowers and a kukui nut lei placed at the desk of Sen. Daniel Inouye Tuesday following his death Monday.
All 800 tickets to Sen. Daniel Inouye’s memorial service at Punchbowl Cemetery were distributed by 7:30 a.m.
No walk-up visitors will be allowed at the cemetery. President Barack Obama is scheduled to attend the service.

The June 27th lava flow encroached on more land near homes in Pahoa. It came down to hand-to-hand combat with Madame Pele for some residents.
Local media, national press and now onlookers are all descending on sleepy Pahoa town in hopes of catching a view of the lava flow.
