The U.S. Coast Guard is spearheading a search for a plane missing since Saturday night.
Maui resident Jose Krall, 50, was flying a Cessna 1725 airplane that disappeared from radar while traveling from Maui to Molokai.
Officials have found debris, but it is unclear if it belongs to Krall’s aircraft.
The aircraft seats four, has a single engine and fixed wings. Officials do not know if anyone other than the pilot is on board.
Krall is the owner of the Maui Bake Shop in Wailuku, according to the state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
