Army authorities say Macomb Gate was temporarily closed to inbound traffic while law enforcement investigate a bomb threat at Schofield Barracks Thursday.

Facilities were evacuated after receiving the threat via telephone, according to Army officials.

Army law enforcement officials and an Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal team were at the scene.

By 5:15 p.m., the scene was cleared and the roads reopened, according to Army officials.
