The City & County of Honolulu released its report on the worst road on Oahu Thursday and the council district in East Honolulu had the most miles of roads rated poor, very poor, serious or failed.

KITV4 News and our government leaders have been looking into the condition of Oahu's roadways.

The city rated Oahu's roads with a Pavement Condition Index, or PCI.  Roads with a PCI index of 25 or lower were included in the report.

Among those roads with a PCI of 25 or lower, they were given a condition.  The list of conditions are as follows:  Good, Satisfactory, Fair, Poor, Very Poor, Serious and Failed.  Good is the best condition in this report and Failed is the worst condition.

District 4, which represents Aina Haina, Hawaii Kai, Kuliouou, Niu Valley, Wailupe, Waialae-Iki, Kalani Valley, Kahala, Wilhelmina Rise, Kaimuki, and Diamond Head, had 176.77 miles of roads rated Poor, Very Poor, Serious or Failed, the most on Oahu.

District 9, which represents Waikele, Village Park, Royal Kunia, Mililani Town, West Loch, Iroquois Point, Ewa Beach and portions of Ewa Villages, had 147.6 miles of road rated Poor or lower.

If you count only the lane miles of Failed roads, District 5, which represents Kaimuki, Palolo Valley, St. Louis Heights and Manoa, had the most at 39.06.
