The 30th Great Aloha Run got off to a soggy start today... but that didn't stop runners from lacing up their shoes and hitting the streets. KITV 4's Ashley Moser caught up with some runners and also volunteers to find out what it takes to be part of the event. pkg 32:47 And they're off! All 24 thousand runners participating in the Great Aloha Run hit the streets right at 7 a-m. Most didn't mind the soggy weather saying it was ideal for running. The 18 point 1 mile course started at Aloha Tower and finished at Aloha Stadium. An event this big needs more than 4 thousand volunteers to keep on track.
