UH President faces Board of Regents, public
The University of Hawaii Board of Regents held a special meeting at the School of Medicine Friday to talk about President M.R.C. Greenwood.
This comes after the recent UH Athletics Department Stevie Wonder fundraiser in which the university lost $200,000.
There was public testimony for and against Greenwood. that lasted for about 20 minutes. The board went into executive session for about another 90 minutes.
KITV has also received the recent evaluations of Greenwood. The regents say her performance was exceptional and they were impressed with her accomplishments. But, there has yet to be an evaluation since the Stevie Wonder "blunder."
The regents will meet again on Oct. 18.
Lara Yamada will have more on KITV4 News at 5 and 6.
