Hawaiian Electric have restored power to all 4,300 customers who were affected by the outage Sunday morning.
The outage happened around 8:30 a.m. from Kalani High School to Kalama Valley by the golf course.
HECO said about 4,300 customers were without power. They also said that cause of the outage was a piece of equipment that broke due high winds.
Crews were conducting a ground inspection, which takes longer than normal to find the problems. Restoration took about five hours.
