SURVEILLANCE VIDEO: Police looking for gold-colored SUV
Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers have new information on the deadly crash in Kaneohe that killed a 38-year-old woman.
Police are looking for the driver of a gold-colored SUV that was in the area at the time of the collision. Investigators previously said they believe a female was driving the SUV.
On August 7, at approximately 9:33 p.m., Lany Salva was crossing Kamehameha Highway south of Pahia Road in a marked crosswalk, when she was struck by an unknown vehicle.
There may be damage to the front end of the vehicle last seen heading towards Windward Mall. Salva was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later died. The driver of the vehicle could be charged with failure to render aid.
