Police involved in pedestrian collision at Aala Park

Man, early 30s, hospitalized in serious but stable condition

HONOLULU -

Honolulu police say one its own vehicles was involved in a pedestrian collision at Aala Park Tuesday.

It happened at around 3:45 p.m.

The man in his early 30s was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

Traffic investigators were at the scene looking into the cause of the collision.

Police say the officer was doing his normal patrol at the park and apparently did not see the man lying in the grass.
