Honolulu police say a 23-year-old man died Wednesday after he was stabbed multiple times at the Ala Moana Center.

Investigators say the man was found in the stairwell near the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant around 3 p.m.

Emergency Medical Services officials say the man was taken to the Queen's Medical Center in extremely critical condition where he later died.

Police say the victim was an employee at the shopping center.  They say he was having lunch with friends before work when he was found in the stairway.

Investigators are still looking for the suspect.
