Honolulu police say two women, ages 73 and 96, died over the weekend after falling in their home.
The first incident happened on Jan. 19 in Honolulu. Officers say a 96-year-old woman fell in her home and suffered a serious injury. She was hospitalized and later released.
The woman died on Sunday at her residence.
The second incident happened at a home in the Punchbowl area on Jan. 21. A 73-year-old woman fell and was hospitalized.
On Saturday, she became unresponsive and never recovered.
Both cases are listed as unattended deaths.
