People on Oahu prepare their emergency kitsUPDATED 10:47 PM HST Jul 28, 2013Video Transcript
On Oahu many people were flocking to the stores to gather emergency supplies. Hot on the list were non- perishable items. KITV4's Nana Ohkawa continues our team coverage. Water bottles and canned goods were rolling out of stores today. People are stocking up with supplies for the storm. The storm could leave people in the dark... bringing strong winds and heavy rain... cutting off power and potentially keeping people trapped in their homes due to flooding. Yesterday people were filling up with propane at the City Mill in Kaimuki-- this morning that store ran out of propane just an hour after opening.
