Pedestrian struck in Waipahu; hospitalized in critical condition

Emergency Medical Services crews transported a 65-year-old man in critical condition after he was apparently struck by a vehicle in Waipahu early Tuesday morning.
It happened just after 2 a.m. near Farrington Highway and Moloalo Street, according to EMS officials.
The road was closed during the investigation but has since been reopened.
