Honolulu police are asking witnesses to come forward after a 49-year-old woman died from her injuries in a hit-and-run case in Waipahu.

Wednesday morning, Cecelia Ramirez was walked to catch the bus to work when the pickup truck, possibly red, hit her on Paiwa Street, according to police.

Ramirez died from her injuries on Thursday.
