Honolulu police says officers closed sections of the H-1 and H-3 Freeways from the airport area to the Windward side for escort training on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

It happens again on Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Portions of Kaneohe Bay Drive will also be closed.  Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and use alternate routes.
