Paraglider crashes into tree from 350 feet above ground
Paraglider was 350 feet in the air before spiraling down
On the Big Island, a paraglider is recovering after crashing into a tree in Honaunau.
Hawaii County Fire crews were called out to the paraglider in distress around 11 a.m. Saturday.
They found the 45-year-old man tangled in a tree in an old coffee field.
The paraglider told rescue crews that he was on a downward spiral from about 350 feet in the air before landing in the coffee field.
