Paia Elementary School was closed Tuesday due to a water outage, according to the Department of Education.

MauiNow.com is reporting that parents are asked to pick up their children on campus.  Officials say bus service is not running because they need to make sure students are in the care of their parents.

The closure was announced at 9 a.m.
