The billionaire who bought most of the island of Lanai is ready to start with some construction that'll add more homes and resorts, and could wind up DOUBLING the population. According to our partners at Pacific Business news... Larry Ellison's second year of island ownership could be a busy one. P-B-N says Ellison wants to renovate the Four Seasons, add a third luxury resort, a tennis academy, luxury homes, plus modest residences to house the influx of working-class people who will staff the resorts. The new building could add 300 construction jobs. Ellison is also focused on renewable energy. Residents tell P-B-N they're still optimistic the changes for Lanai will be for the better.
