Honolulu police, fire crews and the military responded Tuesday afternoon to a report of ordnance in the front yard of a Haleiwa home.
Police and fire crews responded at around 12:15 p.m. to Keiki Place.
Fire officials say the ordnance is a couple of feet long. The Honolulu Fire Department turned the scene over to police.
Police contacted Schofield Barracks. The Honolulu Police Department's bomb squad is taking a look at the ordnance.
A resident at the home said it was left behind by a former tenant.
