Customer Susan Yenchick said, "Knowing that there's prepared food is great too. Maybe it's a lunch I don't have to make."
At the opening, there were only about 11 vendors, but organizers say their goal is to fill the lot with up to 100 vendors.
The farmers market will be held on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some Saturdays will be excluded such as Oct. 20th, 27th, and Nov. 17th, 24th.
