Electric car drivers now have another place to recharge for free in Honolulu.

Two new charging stations are up and running at Ala Moana Center.

It's the sixth e-vehicle station Volta Industries set up on Oahu.

Volta says the stations provide insight for drivers looking to switch over to electric.

"The stations are free to use and they're kind of designed to get people's interest," said Scott Mercer of Volta Industries.  "To convince them to buy the cars and consider the cars."

Each station is able to provide 15 to 20 miles worth of range per hour of charging.
