Missing man, 61, found in Waikiki

Toguchi has early signs of dementia; requires daily medication

HONOLULU -

Honolulu police say they found a 61-year-old man who was missing and is suffering from early signs of dementia.

Masakazu Toguchi was found at a Waikiki hotel at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and safely returned to his care home in Moanalua.

He was last seen on March 31 at approximately 12 p.m., in the area of Ala Iolani Place near the Moanalua Golf Course.

Police say he is suffering from early signs of dementia and a medical condition that
requires daily medication.
