Missing Kapa'a woman found alive, in good health

Police still looking for Lomov; last seen in Kalalau Valley

The Kauai Police Department says 32-year-old Izabela Kozak of Kapa'a has been found and is in good health.

KPD thanks the public for their assistance in locating her.

Police are still searching for Ilya Nikolayevich Lomov, 42, who was reported missing on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

Lomov was last seen on Jan. 2 in Kalalau Valley.  He has not returned home to California or made contact with his family since.

Lomov had a camping permit for several campsites on the North Shore.  His permit was valid from Dec. 29 through Jan. 3.

Lomov is 6-feet-two-inches-tall and weighs roughly 220 pounds.  He has brown eyes, brown hair, a heavy build and a light tan complexion.
