Memorial for Na'alehu crash victim scheduled

Taylor to be remembered in Hilo; will receive military honors

HILO, Hawaii -

Funeral services for a 64-year-old Na'alehu man who died in a crash in Pahala last month has been scheduled, according to his family.

Richard Taylor will be remembered on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Haili Congregational Church at 211 Haili St. in Hilo.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by services from 11 a.m. to noon.

Taylor will receive military honors at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. II at 110 Laimana Street in Hilo after the church services.

There will also be a semi-truck and motorcycle memorial run in honor of Taylor.
