Maui police make arrest in Paia hit-and-run

WAILUKU, Hawaii -

Maui police have made an arrest in the fatal hit-and-run case in Paia.

An officer found a silver 2003 Mitsubishi Galant in Skill Village Tuesday that was believed to be involved in the hit-and-run.

73-year-old Dionicio Fernandez Pagala of Paia was arrested.  He was released pending further investigation.

The victim was identified as 56-year-old Gregory Lee King of Paia.

His body was found on Sunday lying in the middle of Paia Bypass Road.
