Honolulu police said 27-year-old Royce Gouveia was charged Tuesday with manslaughter in connection with the death of a Kapolei man.

Albert Meyer, 29, was found in Makakilo with injuries on a sidewalk on Thursday and he died on Saturday.

Gouveia is being held on $250,000 bail.

The medical examiner is investigating the cause of Meyer's death.

Gouveia was arrested on Monday on the same street, Lahaina Street, where a Makaha man was shot and killed in September.  Police say the two incidents are not related.
