A man in his 60s was injured in an apparent hang gliding incident at Sandy Beach Park Wednesday afternoon, according to Emergency Medical Services officials.

Ambulance crews were called at around 4 p.m. to the Ewa side of the park.

Paramedics and lifeguards treated the man before he was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
