Big Island police are investigating the stabbing murder of a 30-year-old man found dead in a Honomu home.

Police say a 49-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene when officers responded to a report of a stabbing Sunday.

The victim's name has not yet been released.

The suspect remains in custody Monday at the Hilo cell block while detectives investigate the case as second-degree murder.
