A man in his 40s died Sunday after crashing his motorcycle on Iroquois Avenue in Ewa Beach, which is in the Iroquois Point military housing.

Emergency Medical Services officials say it happened around 9:15 p.m.

Honolulu police says the Ewa Beach man was not wearing a helmet when he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a utility pole.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say speed was a possible factor in the crash.
