The man accused in a deadly stabbing at Ala Moana Center pleaded not guilty on Monday to the charge.
26-year-old Jacob Le was charged in the stabbing death of his friend Brent Keola Kanae.
Detectives say Le eventually confessed to the crime. He was charged with second-degree murder.
Trial is scheduled for Dec. 31.
