Gifford Chang reacts to the jury's verdict
A man accused of bringing in fireworks that were involved in an explosion at a bunker in Waikele on Apr. 8, 2011 that killed five men was acquitted of all charges Wednesday.
Gifford Chang was found not guilty of engaging in importing explosives without a license, false declaration of goods, and smuggling goods into the U.S.
Chang was licensed to import consumer grade fireworks, but prosecutors say he was caught shipping commercial grade fireworks through his company Tiger Corporation.
Donaldson Enterprises was cited for failing to ensure safe working conditions after a state investigation into the incident.
