Honolulu police say a 36-year-old man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of murder after an alleged assault in January.

Detectives say Reuben Silva is accused of assaulting a 27-year-old man, who was found near an intersection in Kalihi, on Jan 20.  The man died on Feb. 18.

The medical examiner says the man died from blunt head trauma due to fall on hard surface.

Police are investigating the motive for the suspected attack.
