Honolulu police have charged a 27-year-old man with five counts of sexual assault against a teenage girl.

Bud L. Dwelly was arrested on Tuesday.  The alleged assaults happened in the afternoon on Aug. 27 and Aug. 29 in Pearl City.

Police describe the suspect and victim as acquaintances.  The girl reported the alleged assaults between Aug. 29 and Oct. 9.

Dwelly was charged Wednesday with three counts of first-degree sexual assault and two counts of third-degree sexual assault.

Bail has been set at $100,000.
