Honolulu police say a 27-year-old Kalihi man was arrested early Wednesday morning accused of robbing a taxi driver.
A police report says on Jan. 30, a taxi driver drove a man and a woman from Waikiki to a popular Honolulu lookout.
Once at the lookout, while all three people were outside of the taxi, the driver was assaulted and his cell phone was taken, according to police.
The man and woman left without pay for a mutually agreed upon $20 fare.
At around 2:28 a.m. Wednesday, the man was arrested for second-degree robbery after he was identified by the taxi driver in Waikiki.
