Honolulu police say a 21-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for assault on a 3-month-old girl.
The incident happened on Tuesday in the Kailua area, according to the police report. The suspect was arrested on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
Police say the infant sustained serious bodily injury.
The suspect lives on Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
