Friends of the Library of Hawai'i will be holding its "Friends, Books, Music -- THE SALE!" event during the Martin Luther King, Jr. weekend from Jan. 19 through Jan. 21.

It will be held near the end of Forrest Avenue on the makai side of Ala Moana Boulevard (click attached flyer/map).

The schedule on Saturday and Sunday will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  On Monday, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The sale will feature more than 15,000 books and 10,000 albums.

All book sale proceeds go to support Hawaii's 50 public libraries.
