Kaka'ako power outage affected residents, drivers

Some traffic lights were out; 125 customers without power

A power outage was affecting some Kaka'ako residents and some drivers in the area Tuesday afternoon.

Traffic lights were out near Ala Moana Boulevard and Cooke Street and as well as other intersections on Cooke Street at around 4:30 p.m.

The Hawaiian Electric Company says about 125 customers are affected by the outage.

HECO believes it was an underground cable problem.

Power was restored by 5:30 p.m.
