Kailua business owner found guilty of harassment

 UPDATED 5:09 PM HST Apr 22, 2013

A Kailua business owner who police say used a high pressure water hose to spray down protesters last July was found guilty Monday of four counts of criminal harassment.

Bob Twogood was accused of hosing down a group of Kailua resident who were protesting outside of his business.

The group was pushing for a ban on commercial activity at Kailua Beach, which Twogood says would negatively affect his kayak rental business as well as the business of others in the area.

Twogood faces 50 hours of community service.
