Honolulu police say a 9-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday after he was accused of robbing a Kalihi store.
The police report said the boy entered the store at around 7:40 a.m. and took out a dangerous instrument while threatening a 58-year-old woman.
The boy opened a Nestle Dibs ice cream display freezer and checked if there were any products inside. The suspect saw that the display was empty and left the store without any merchandise, according to the police report.
