Hurricane grounds NY Hawaiian Airlines flights

HONOLULU -

Hawaiian Airlines says it canceled its flights between Honolulu and New York City on Sunday and Monday due to Hurricane Sandy.

Regular service is expected to return on Tuesday, depending on the weather.

Hawaiian plans to have additional round-trip flights to John F Kennedy International Airport to accommodate affected passengers.
