Honolulu police arrested a man who they said is connected with several robberies and a car break-in on Oahu.
James Delmar Walters III, 32, was arrested just before midnight Tuesday on Date Street near Mahiai Street in Moiliili. He was charged with felony counts of robbery, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and two counts of illegal use of a firearm.
Police said Walters was involved in at least two recent criminal incidents.
On April 20, a man armed with a gun approached four visitors walking on Ala Wai Boulevard and demanded their money before he fled the scene.
On April 22, a victim saw a man in his parked vehicle on Onekea Drive in Kailua. When the victim confronted him, the man threatened him with a handgun and fled.
