Fire officials said two hikers in their 20s were airlifted off of Manana Trail in Pacific Palisades Monday afternoon.

The call came at around 12:30 p.m.  The hiker called 911 after one of them injured an ankle.

Both hikers were airlifted from the trail two miles from the summit.

Officials said the injury is non-life threatening.
