Hawaiian Telcom is working to re-route as much traffic as possible to restore services to impacted customers.

About 10,000 Hawaiian Telcom customers were impacted.  A number of customers had service restored by Tuesday afternoon.

Call volumes at its call centers are extremely high and customers attempting to reach the company may receive busy signals.

Hawaiian Telcom apologizes for the disruption in service and is dedicating all available resources to address customer needs.
