The state of Hawaii will be receiving $17 million in disaster relief funds to repair roads and highways.
The funds announced Wednesday will help the state repair roads and highways damaged by heavy rains that caused flooding and landslides on Kauai and Maui in late February and early March 2012.
Officials say the money also will go toward road repair caused by damage from a tornado, hail storms and flooding damage on Oahu and Molokai.
