Organizers of the Independence Day at Maunalua Bay Festival said the show will go on, but more money still needs to be raised.
The event is still about $25,000 short. Donations are being accepted on the event's website.
Donations will be accepted even on July 4.
No matter what happens, the fireworks show will last about 15 minutes.
