The city Emergency Services Department says Hanauma Bay reopened at noon Monday after Ocean Safety officials did not find more tidal surges at the bay.

Officials kept the bay closed on Sunday because of an unsafe surge from tsunami waves from Saturday night's earthquake off Western Canada.

There was no damage to Hanauma Bay from the waves.
