Honolulu police are investigating two stabbings in Waikiki on Tuesday.

Emergency Medical Services officials say a 29-year-old man was hospitalized in serious to critical condition after a man was found with a stab wound at the Waikiki Trade Center at around 4:20 a.m.

Detectives followed the blood trail to the Pacific International Condo on Ala Wai Boulevard.

Police have identified the suspect as a woman and opened an attempted murder investigation.

HPD says preliminary reports suggest this may have been a robbery because the victim says some of his personal property was taken.

Investigators say the victim and the suspect did not know each other.

At around 9 a.m., EMS was called to the Pacific Beach Hotel where a 25-year-old man was taken to the hospital with stab wounds.  EMS officials say the man was apparently stabbed at around midnight but did not call EMS until 9 a.m.
