Windy weather causes problems in Kalihi
The Hawaiian Electric Company says its crews are continuing to work on restoring power to about 50 customers in Kalihi near the Kamehameha Shopping Center Tuesday morning.
Power is expected to be restored later in the morning, possibly by 8 a.m.
HECO crews are also working on Lunalilo Street in Makiki to restore power to an apartment complex that includes about 20 customers. Work is expected to be complete by 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Crews were also working on Kunia Road to replace a utility pole damaged in a motor vehicle crash. The road was reopened by 6 a.m. and repair work was completed by 6:45 a.m and power was restored.
